  • How to become a partner (sales representative)?

Use the contact form to send us a message by specifying your contacts, your country/region/city where you want to represent our products. Also write a few words about yourself and your business.

  • Are there any discounts available for electricians and installers?

Yes. Discounts are available for electricians, installers, designers and sales representatives. The discount rate depends on the purchase volume and is negotiated separately in each individual case.

  • I have another question about the products...

Please contact us if you have not found the answer to your question in the ION CS-8 section. We’ll be pleased to answer any questions you may have.

  • What are the benefits of the ION CS-8 central switch?

    • Attractive price
    • Easier installation
    • Additional features
    • Space saving in the power distribution board
    • Safety
  • What loads can I connect to the ION CS-8 central switch?

We use high-quality 10A relays with an 80A inrush current.

This enables the device to control both typical standard loads and electric motors and LED lights.

  • Can the ION CS-8 central switch replace impulse relays?

    Absolutely!

This device with a width of only 3 standard DIN units controls eight outputs.

  • What cables should I use for the installation of electrical wiring?

As the switch is powered from an internal 24V supply unit, you can even use a signal cable or a twisted pair (0,2-0,5mm – AWG32-AWG24) to connect the wall switches. Or thicker.

Please consult the local standard for the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment when selecting power cables.

  • What about safety aspects of the ION CS-8 central switch?

The switch is powered from an internal 24V supply unit, which allows them to be installed in locations where units with higher voltages (110V/220V) is prohibited (by the local standard for the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment).

  • Is it possible to control several lighting points using a single switch?

    Of course!

With the ION CS-8 central switch you can, for example, turn on room lighting with a short press and balcony lighting with a long press.

  • Is it possible to interconnect different ION CS-8 modules?

Yes. An example of such interconnection is shown in the Standard Solutions section.

  • Can I organize several independent groups using a single module?

Yes. An example is shown in the Standard Solutions section: group switches on each floor plus one main switch at the exit.

  • Which switches should I use?

The ION CS-8 central switch is used with wall switches: both toggle wall switches and non-locking push buttons (tactile switches).

The switch type for each input is set using the ModBus RTU protocol (RS-485).

  • Is it necessary to maintain a permanent connection to RS-485?

Connection to RS-485 is only required for the initial configuration of the module and is not needed during operation (however, connection to RS-485 enables direct control to be maintained during operation of the device).

  • What is the difference between isolated and standard (non-isolated) RS-485 interfaces?

Galvanic isolation of the RS-485 interface is used in harsh industrial environments and long communication lines (up to 1 km).

You can use the non-isolated RS-485 interface for residential applications.
